Meet the MakersWe're Jessica and Preston, husband and wife, musicians, and the hands behind Gypsy Life.
We live on the road. Most nights you'll find us camped under open sky with our three adventurous cats, a fire going, a flute in one hand and a drum in the other. That wandering life is the heart of everything we make.
The Flutes
Preston makes every Gypsy Life flute by hand, one at a time, using hand tools. Each flute is tuned to 432 Hz and played by Preston before it ever leaves us. No two are alike. Every one has its own grain, its own voice, and its own story.
The Music
We perform together as Gypsy Life. Preston plays the flute, and Jessica keeps the heartbeat on the shaman drum. Our music is slow, earthy and meditative, made for breathing, healing and coming home to yourself.
The Healing
Jessica offers sound therapy with tuning forks, singing bowls and flutes. She believes sound is one of the simplest ways to quiet the mind and reconnect with your body. Everything in our shop, from ritual oils to books and guides, is chosen with that same purpose: to help you find your own path to healing, self-discovery and stillness.
Why We Do This
We believe the best things are made slowly, by hand, with intention. When you bring home something from Gypsy Life, you're bringing home a piece of the road, the fire and the music that made it.
